In a study of ChatGPT, about half of the references it gave did not exist or were wrong. Keenious searches an index of published research, and the companion points students to research areas and the result list, where every item links to the publication.

Keenious searches 180M+ publications from OpenAlex, an open catalogue of research that anyone can query. Filters such as publication type and language use OpenAlex's records, so a record can carry the wrong label.
OpenAlexPatron data stays in the EU
Prompts, messages and files are processed in the EU. They are not used to train Keenious's models or those of its providers. Institutions get a data processing agreement.
